Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund

The Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund is a foundation established in 2007 to support innovative strategies that address long-standing problems in New York City. BKSK’s design for their new headquarters features an open plan and green materials that support its mission and commitment to being a responsive corporate citizen and a good neighbor. Natural light illuminates all spaces, and materials and furniture are sustainably sourced, recycled, reclaimed or non-toxic. A special lighting fixture at the center of the space was customized with inspirational quotes chosen by employees. The fund will use the space as offices, and to host exhibits of mission-related artwork that spotlights social innovators and leaders.
