Earlier this month we had the pleasure of celebrating the opening of the new Athletics & Wellness Center for the Convent of the Sacred Heart, right on our home island of Manhattan. At the event, members of the project team gathered with school trustees, the building committee, and the school’s extensive community of friends and supporters to celebrate the completion of a very successful project and the people who made it happen. Flushing Meadow-Corona Park is world renowned from a variety of World’s Fair images from 50 years ago. The Unisphere, as a key example, remains instantly recognizable but rarely visited by the majority of today’s New Yorkers. As the park becomes more visible, and as interest in Queens’ many diverse neighborhoods grows, that trend seems to be changing. Read more

Last Thursday, the Village of Mamaroneck commemorated an exciting milestone: the LEED Gold certification of the Mamaroneck Public Library, the first LEED certification for any building in the Village. The project’s design and construction team was thrilled to participate in the celebration, which also included library staff and supporters, leaders from local government, Mamaroneck High School students and teachers, and other members of the community.
